Epilogue
We are born into a beautiful world that can provide all our daily needs. The Sun daily produces on Earth enough light, heat, wind, wave and plant power for all our energy needs. We just need to adopt the appropriate alternative technology a.s.a.p.
The biodiversity of our living system:
from an acorn to an oak tree,
butterfly to an eagle,
spider to an octopus,
tortoise to an elephant
and from a shrimp to a whale
is so beautiful, amazing and essential that
we must protect and encourage all we
have left.
Each one of the six billion of us can make a
difference and I ask you to start now and
gradually make a commitment to as many
levels from self to mankind as you can. In
addition for the sake of your children and
grandchildren I ask you to:
1. Save on all non-essential energy
2. Recycle all your waste
3. Walk, cycle and use public transport
4. Use low energy efficient light bulbs, fridges, heating, cars, etc
5. Try ethical banking, investment and shopping.
A spinoff is that in following these five points, you are likely to save money and become healthier. Mother Earth does not need us, we need her life system, which is our life system, and we must stop destroying it.
